WHAT SHE SAID:

GAME 5 RECAP

So we decided that this is going to be a real recap for the game and not something that came from the past.

- Relax. It's really 2011, not some figment of your imagination.

- The game is in Vancouver and the fans are

Oh, sorry about that. Didn't see that coming.

- Well, it's the first period and looks like things are heating up. Oh wait, there's just a lot of neutral zone play.

-
Again, forgive us. Thought we had enough sleep the night before but apparently not.

- Wish we could watch this on CBC because maybe there's more action showed there? Maybe.

- Now it's the second period and still just a couple of holding penalties. You know how exciting those are.

Dammit! Did not mean to fall asleep again.

- Anyway, onto the third period.

- Yes! Finally! Ryan Kesler has a shot on goal.

-

- Oh goal! Yay!

Maxim Lapierre gets the only goal of the game.

And then Roberto Luongo had some choice words for Tim Thomas after the game about making the save on Lapierre's goal.
"It's not hard if you're playing in the paint," he said. "It's an easy save for me, but if you're wandering out and aggressive like he does, that's going to happen."

- Haha and this is what we think of that Mr. Luongo
