Quarterfinals: Day Two

#3 Boston Bruins / #6 Montreal Canadiens

Canadiens lead series 1-0 after a 2-0 win

Carey Price faced his demons and came out victorious.

He turned aside 32 shots and stood on his head for the Habs.

The Bruins were just shooting everything at him but it didn't work.

The Habs went into their defensive shells and didn't look back.

#2 Philadelphia Flyers / #7 Buffalo Sabres

Sabres lead series 1-0 after a 1-0 win

Another shutout and another lower seed winning.

This time is was Patrick Kaleta scoring the goal, an unlikely source and Ryan Miller getting the 35 save shutout.

#2 San Jose Sharks / #7 Los Angeles Kings

Sharks lead series 1-0 after a 3-2 win in overtime

This was an exciting game to watch. Goals and hits and genuine dislike going through both teams. And a goal 28 seconds in helps the excitement.

Of course Logan Couture scored. And of course Justin Williams showed up.

Joe Pavelski won it in overtime.

Big story of the night though was the hit from behind by Jarret Stoll on Ian White. Stoll was suspended for one game and the Kings had to call up Brayden Schenn.
